Bunker Hill Teacher of the Year 2009-2010
Mrs. Mimi Corcoran, Fourth Grade Teacher
Mrs. Mimi Corcoran has been in the Appoquinimink School District since 1984. Most of her 25 years have been spent teaching 4th graders at Silver Lake, Cedar Lane and now at Bunker Hill Elementary.
She is a graduate of Mount St. Mary's University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education. Mrs. Corcoran also has a Masters of Instruction from the University of Delaware.
She loves the challenges and success that each new day brings to her classroom. Every day is exciting as students uncover the knowledge they will use to be successful. Mrs. Corcoran especially enjoys when her students teach her new things especially on the computer!
Mrs. Corcoran is "so honored" to be Bunker Hill Elementary School's first ever Teacher of the Year. Mrs. Corcoran will represent all of the outstanding teachers at Bunker Hill.
