February is "I Love to Read Month" at Bunker Hill!
"I Love to Read Month" is a great way for our students, staff, and family members to work to integrate reading into their day!
"I Love to Read Month" is what's happening at Bunker Hill this February!
Students and staff members are really focusing on working with literacy to have students and families understand the benefits of incorporating reading into their day for at least fifteen solid minutes, increasing as the child gets older.

Please refer to our Photo Album on this site for some images taken during our first ever "Read-In" at Bunker Hill. This "Read-In" occured at 3:15PM on Monday, February 1, 2010. EVERYONE in the school grabbed a book and began to read for fifteen minutes in the pods and in the hallways of the school. Students, staff members, custodians, and other visitors worked together to read together during this time.
We also had great kick-off support from local office members, which were led to different classrooms to encourage reading! BHE loves support from the local community!
