If your child will be 5-years old by August 31, it's time to register for kindergarten classes. Kindergarten is a free, full-day program in the Appoquinimink School District. Registration for the 2010/2011 school year will be held February 10-11 at participating Early Childhood Centers. Be sure to bring your student, together with his/her birth certificate and current medical forms including: physician’s immunization record, physical examination form, lead & tuberculosis test results, as well as proof of residence (rent receipt, lease, deed, gas or electric bill). Testing will occur at this time, so allow at least 20 minutes for your visit.
Families can save time by completing the registration packet in advance. Forms can be found on the district website: apposchooldistrict.com under the [REGISTRATION] button. |
